Marilyn Poteet (3rd row from the bottom, 3rd person from the right)gathered as many people from the 8th Grade (June 1963) class of Carl Wilde PS79 as she could locate for a summertime picnic in Indianapolis. In the center of the second row is Vice Principal Jim Robinson who passed away after this photo was taken. This group became part of the first Freshman Class of the newly-built Northwest High School which opened in September 1963. |
